the adecomm transceiver (qsfp+ 40g zr4) is compliant to msa sff-8436 40gbase-ir4, otu3 and ieee 802.3ba. this quad small form-factor pluggable (qsfp+) optical module ratch up to 40 km, terminated with dual lc connectors. the 40 gigabit ethernet signal is carried over four wavelengths, multiplexing and demultiplexing of the four wavelengths are managed within the device.
